12 Weeks and 5 DaysToday we went for a big test called the Ultrascreen. This is a genetic test that tests for Downs Syndrome, Edward's Syndrome and other genetic heart deficiencies. We decided to have this optional test done only to allow us to best prepare for our baby in the event there was a problem. Baby didn't want to cooperate much. The ultrasound tech asked which of us was the sound sleeper because baby is not wanting to anything but sleep. Of course baby gets that from dad! It was exciting to get to see our baby again. We got a great picture of he/she sleeping. There were no visuals of any problems but now we wait a whole week to find out the results from the blood work.
