After spending a day and a half packing up we left our house early Thursday morning and headed to Corpus Christi. When we loaded up for this same trip last year all we had was one suit case, two lawn chairs and a cooler. Pretty simple. This year, we filled up the entire back end of the Tahoe! Wow!! It takes a lot to travel with a baby! We had a great time. We were there with Keith's mom's side of the family. All in, it was about 30 people. We each have our own beach front condo. Ours was a one bedroom the we made into a two bedroom....this is only important information because as you scroll through the pictures you will see "Ellery's Sleeping Quarters for the Weekend". Yes, we renamed the walk in closet as a bedroom so she had her own room!
Friday was Keith's birthday so we celebrated with birthday cake and Ellery saying "Daddy" for the first time. Yep..."Daddy", not "Da-Da". He has been waiting for this moment for a LONG time!!
It was a great trip and we had such a fun time!
