Let the Party Planning Begin....

Well, we are only 7 1/2 weeks away from the big 1 year old and 8 weeks away from the BIG 1st Birthday Party!! I have begun getting my plans in order and figuring out how this whole event will take place, because lets face it....2nd to her wedding , this is a BIG DEAL!! :) OK...maybe that is a bit dramatic, but it is a big deal! So....many have asked if I have a theme, and I must admit I didn't even think "theme" when I set out on this journey. There are SO many cute "themes" out there.....but it didn't even cross my mind. So...if I have to say I have chosen a theme, I would say bright happy colors, flowers and butterflies! I guess that is our theme. So far the date has been chosen, invitations have been ordered, elle's outfit has been selected, some decorations have been purchased, food has been scheduled, and now to focus on the cake and extras to make is completely and totally girly! I already can't wait for it to get here and we are still 8 weeks away!!
